This is just a quick note to wish you all a very happy 2021. May you be blessed with great colleagues and interesting projects and may you be healthy, wealthy and wise in 2021.

I wanted, too, to share a few of my favourite articles from 2020 and look forward to exploring the new year with you.

My favourite webinar of 2020

During a year in which we produced so much great content with partners and a variety of experts its hard to decide on just one webinar, but the Recorded webinar series – COVID-19: Utility Crisis Management stood out for me for a number of reasons. As we were all coming to grips with the emotional, health and business realities of life under a pandemic, this series brought a sense of amazement to our team as it reinforced the amazing work being done by utilities around the globe to address the pandemic while keeping the lights on and ensuring the safety of their staff and customers. The sense of appreciation for all the hard work is as real today as it was in April 2020.

My favourite articles

Here, I have a little more leeway as I put a limit of five [as you can see – I can’t count…] to this category! Here are some of the stories I either really enjoyed working on or reading:

My favourite podcast

Another difficult decision, but I think it would have to be Podcast #2: How has the energy sector changed in the last 10 years? Reflections from close observers This collaboration between our global teams brought home that incredible journey we have all been on along with the utility sector. Reflecting on the growth and evolution of the various Clarion events alongside that of the industry was exciting – although I will admit that it made me feel a bit old.
